It brings me joy when I see the lives of my clients improve. Bringing more than ten years of experience with me, my approach is to tailor therapy to your unique needs – the needs of each person and family with whom I meet. We’ll work together to find solutions.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities, and ages. I enjoy helping clients in areas such as adoption, anger management, anxiety, bipolar, body image and disordered eating, boundary setting, chronic illness, chronic pain, communication, co-parenting after separation or divorce, cultural adjustments, depression, divorce prevention, divorce recovery, family conflict, financial problems, grief, life transitions, parent-child relationships, marriage, miscarriage, pre-marital counseling, recovery from affairs, self-harm, spirituality, sex therapy, and trauma. If you request it, we can take a specifically Christian focus in counseling.

When working with your child, I use a variety of techniques and include other family members in order to support your child as we work towards improvement. Play is the language of children, making play therapy an excellent choice for your child. In adolescents, I’ve seen success in treating depression, strained family relationships, and many other daunting hardships. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, designed to treat trauma and traumatic grief in children and teens.

My approach to couples therapy begins with learning about the historical context and current challenges that are keeping you from a healthy relationship. We will then work to discover what’s best for your partnership and pursue healing. Change is possible, there is hope, and I’d love to help.
