Has your sexual compulsions interrupted your life in some way? Has your sexual behavior hurt others around you? Do you feel like you are living a double life? Are you keeping sexual secrets from the people you love? Are you experiencing guilt or shame because of your sexual behavior? If you answered “yes” this group may be beneficial for you. Breaking Ground is a 12 session beginners program specifically for men who are struggling with sexual addiction or compulsions. Do NOT tarry any longer, start your journey to a new life.
Each participant will need a copy of Patrick Carnes’ Facing the Shadows, which can be purchased here at FSC or on amazon.com. This book is has a large amount of material – more than can be processed in this group. Thus, feel free to purchase your copy early to get a head start. However, if the material is triggering, then put the book down and discuss the experience with your therapist.
Most of the paperwork will be provided to you and discussed on the first day of group. However, if you are NOT already a client at FSC, then we request that you fill out the Group Intake Form and return promptly to FSC so that we can better determine whether or not this group will be a good fit for you. Please fax the thoroughly completed form to 405-242-5345. You may also drop it off or mail it to: Family Solutions Counseling | Attn: Breaking Ground Group | 10400 N. Vineyard Blvd., Suite A | OKC, OK | 73120.
