Licensed Marital & Family Therapist Candidate
Have you ever come to a point in life where you think to yourself, “Something’s gotta give!”? The plate you are holding cannot take one more item added to it; if it does everything will topple over. Maybe it already has. Life might often feel like you are holding a plate, hoping to keep its balance as items get added or heavier. Think of therapy as a way for you to sort through your plate by helping you determine what needs to stay, what needs to go, and what needs to change. The job of the therapist is to help you rearrange your plate in such a way that you don’t always feel like things are going to topple over at any given moment. Whatever the stressors may be in your life, with a balanced plate, you can be the individual, partner, or family member you desire to be. If you are considering professional therapy, then you likely have already suffered for too long. I encourage you to make that first appointment, try it out, and see if your plate begins to feel lighter or more balanced.
As a professional therapist, I believe it is important to facilitate and model an environment of honesty, integrity, and authenticity. I am skilled and experienced in working with individuals, couples, families, and teens. I can sit in a room with one person and discuss what is going on in their life just as easily and effectively as I can with a large family. As a professional couples and family therapist, I am more than equipped at balancing the different personalities and dynamics in the room.
If you believe I might be a good fit to help you with your goals, then let’s get an appointment set up as soon as we can. I look forward to hearing from you.
Please print and fill out the appropriate packet.
Be sure to bring the completed forms to your first appointment.
If you are going to be seen by your therapist individually for your first appointment, then this is the packet for you.
If you and your spouse/partner are going to be seen together on your first session, then this is the packet you need to complete. If you are coming in for MARRIAGE or FAMILY THERAPY you will need to download this packet; however, you may need additional forms. Please contact our office at 405-242-5305 so our front office staff can direct you to any additional form needed.
