What: 3 Hour Supervision Ethics Continuing Education – Cultivating Ethical Excellence in Clinical Supervision

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to…

  • Apply Person of the Therapist (POTT) work and principles of cultural humility to strengthen the clinical supervision relationship.
  • Demonstrate at least three clinical supervision intervention methods appropriate to supervisee developmental level and presenting concerns.
  • Differentiate key supervisory roles and areas of focus within clinical supervision, including ethical and legal responsibilities.
  • Analyze the supervisor’s ethical responsibilities to supervisees and client welfare.

Continue Education Units (CEU): This workshop provides 3 Supervisor Ethics CEUs for LMFT Supervisors.

Presenters: Julie Reising,  LMFT, RPT-S™
Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, AAMFT Approved Supervisor, Oklahoma-approved LMFT Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™, Registered Sand Therapist–Consultant/Trainer, and Mindset and Empowerment Life Coach. With more than two decades of clinical and supervisory experience, Julie is known for her intuitive attunement and integrative approach grounded in compassion, hope, and transformation. She has served on the boards of the Oklahoma Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Oklahoma branch of the Association for Play Therapy (including as Board President), and has provided practicum supervision as adjunct faculty in the MFT graduate program at Oklahoma Baptist University. Julie is the creator of the Transitions to Transformation coaching program and co-owner of Play Therapy on the High Seas LLC, offering continuing education experiences that blend meaningful learning with adventure. A passionate speaker and trainer, Julie inspires clinicians and women in transition to grow with clarity and confidence. Outside of her professional life, she is a happily married empty-nester, proud grandmother, and finds renewal in travel, yoga, and scuba diving—especially anywhere in, on, or by the water.
