“Fear is not real. The only place that fear can exist is in our thoughts of the future. It is a product of our imagination, causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. That is near insanity… Do not misunderstand me, danger is very real, but fear is a choice.”
– Cypher Raige (Portrayed by Will Smith in movie After Earth)
Are you ready to find happiness and peace in your relationships and personal life? Life should be about living, not merely surviving. If you feel like you are barely keeping your head above water, then it is likely that you could benefit from professional counseling.
If your life has been impacted by infidelity and/or sexual addiction, then you have experienced a “relational trauma” that, like any trauma, needs the right kind of care in order to heal properly. As a relationship counselor and sex addiction therapist, I have believe I have the proper training and expertise to help get you on a pathway of healing. Also, If you are struggling with issues such as, communication and conflict resolution, in your marriage or parent-child relationships, please contact me as I have a passion for helping build and strengthen parent-child and couple relationships.
I believe that people are inherently good; therefore, it is my perspective that people are not the problem, but problems find their way into people’s lives. My job is to help individuals, couples, and families learn to effectively cope with their existing problems as well as find solutions that will remove the problems from their lives and relationships so they can function at a higher capacity.
Concerning Sexual Addiction or Compulsions
Sexual addiction is a complex addiction but there is hope!
As a trained Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT®), I have completed training developed by Dr. Patrick Carnes which required attendance at multiple training modules and supervision with a CSAT Supervisor. It also requires ongoing education so that ASATs/CSATs such as myself are experts in providing sexual addiction therapy. It is a rigorous process designed to help me best help you.
