Avery Stokes

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate, specializing in working with children, teens, and adults. When working with children, I use play therapy to connect with their world, helping them express and process intense emotions, strengthen their relationships, and explore their inner experiences. I strive to provide parents and caregivers with the tools and confidence they need to better support the children in their care. I also work with adults facing challenges such as trauma, life changes, or relationship difficulties.

I use a systemic approach to tailor every session to each individual, child, and family. I have experience in addressing a variety of issues, such as trauma, grief, divorce, relational conflicts, and issues like anxiety or depression. My goal is to guide individuals and families through their journey of healing, offering support and encouragement as they move toward greater emotional well-being and growth.
