Mollie Hobbs

I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Candidate in Oklahoma City. I graduated with my master's degree in counseling psychology at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.  I am currently in training to become a Registered Play Therapist through the Oklahoma Play Therapy Training Institute.

As a play-based therapist, I understand the value of play for children and adults of all ages. Play creates a safe arena for those to learn about themselves and the world around them. As a marriage and family therapist, I enjoy working with the family system. Parents/caregivers play an important role in treatment. I encourage my families to take an active role in play therapy to help explore, express, and reconnect with their child through play.

In the world of play, I enjoy using books, crafts, imagination play, and LEGOs to connect with my clients. From finger painting to Play-Doh to creating homemade slime - we will do it all. I believe in the benefits of providing children with a safe space and a creative medium to express themselves. I look forward to getting to know you and your child. Together we will experience the powers of play on our way to healing.
